Elementary WEEK 6 - Our final week of the first session, "Who is the Hero in Me."

For six long weeks, the students have worked hard to: define the word hero, investigated "self" to define what their "hero" in themselves is,  practice self awareness and self esteem to recognize their inner "hero," brainstorm ideas, and finally write their story (no matter how grueling).  For the writing process of the story, your student was asked to outline ideas, prewrite, organize, edit their piece by correcting grammar and spelling, typing in their stories, finding photos to go with their stories, editing their story, cutting/cropping pictures,  perfecting with color or design, peer review and implementing suggestions from both classmates and Mrs. Martinez.  All resulting in a wonderful final product. Here are the links below, enjoy!
